The Client
With a century of heritage behind them, Hartnell Taylor Cook are one of Britain’s leading property consultancies. They manage properties across the UK in the regional Big 6 cities, working with companies like The Co-operative Group, Tesco and Legal & General. In London they manage in excess of one million sq ft of Grade A City offices for property companies, private clients and family trusts.
The Challenge
As managing agent, Hartnell Taylor Cook wanted to maximise the appeal of their newly refurbished multi-let building in central london, 5 Norwich Street. In order to do this, they needed a reliable and straightforward connectivity service to match the recent refurbishment work carried out at the building, as well as future proof the overall tenant offering.
This would ensure that the building remained competitive for years to come as connectivity technology continued to improve. A quality connectivity solution would be a vital means of differentiating the offering at 5 Norwich Street with businesses consistently rating connectivity as one of their biggest priorities in new office spaces.
Our Solution
We deployed our fully resilient connectivity service at 5 Norwich Street during refurbishment to reduce downtime. This service has already been purchased by several significant occupiers in the building who have also taken audio-visual, telephony and IT services from NCG to round out their office tech suite.
Our dedicated account team have also provided information and support to building managers and leasing agents, helping promote building services to prospective occupiers – thereby increasing space take-up and minimising vacancy. As a result of this successful deployment, and the value that Hartnell Taylor Cook have received, we are now providing a similar service to an additional 13 buildings managed by HTC across the UK.
