The Client
Aviva Investors are a global asset manager that combines their insurance heritage, investment capabilities and sustainability expertise to deliver sustainable investment opportunities. Their real estate portfolio is particularly important to them with a number of high value central London assets. Their team’s technical expertise combined with strong environmental, social and governance (ESG), allows them to create value for investors in European real estate.
The Challenge
With multiple providers and complex, disparate systems, Aviva needed a single, cost-effective and reliable connectivity solution for its central London portfolio. Being able to market all buildings as ‘connected’ prior to tenant move-ins was a particular priority and key in differentiating the Aviva offer. However, it was vital that a multi-building solution not only maximised budgets but was delivered quickly and with minimal disruption to existing occupiers.
Our Solution
We worked with Aviva to deploy a landlord connectivity solution with a small upfront Capex cost, covering civil works, fibre entry points into buildings and resilient networking equipment. NCG contracted directly with the occupiers to organise their connectivity contracts, keeping Aviva’s Opex costs at a minimum. NCG’s dedicated account management team worked directly with leasing agents to provide pre-sales and marketing support to prospective occupiers, ensuring uptake of space and the service.
Going forward, NCG provides an end-to-end managed service and support for landlord and occupiers with a single point of contact at our London based help desk. Ultimately, we were able to help Aviva to differentiate their buildings in the marketplace with a rapid take up by occupiers looking for hassle-free space and reliable, enterprise-grade speeds.
